If a logo or design must be recreated exactly down to the smallest
detail, then a printed pin is the style of choice. Printed pins allow
a logo or design to be recreated without the need for fine gold or silver
metal line around each color.
The Monterey Company provides both silkscreen printing and offset printing
for presenting complicated colors and gradual colors, known as gradation. Gradation
is the gradual change from one shade or tone of color to another without any
clear line of differentiation. For instance, if your design has a blue color
that slowly changes into a green color, then a printed pin would be the best
way to recreate that. The silkscreening process offers the best solution for
a pin style when detailed designs require precise, color-on-color detailing.
100% Quality Guarantee
The offset printing process offers full-color reproduction with outstanding
details and accuracy. Ask one of our knowledgeable sales reps which process
will work best for your logo. Printed pins also come with two different
options for the edging (outside borders.) We offer the option of having
the outside border of your printed pins made with either a shiny gold
or shiny silver metal edge, or a full bleed.
For some customers, the addition of a shiny gold or silver edge gives
their design a little extra elegance and more of a finish look. On the
other hand, some designs work best without the metal edge. For those designs
we use a full edge bleed. This enables the design to flow right to the
edge of the pin. Edge options are one more reason why printed pins are
so versatile -- they can be easily custom tailored to any design. Printed
pins are also fully PMS (Pantone Matching System) matchable to accomodate
branded and proprietary logos.
Because the process of producing printed pins is less labor
intensive than the process of creating the enamel pins, it
is, therefore, less expensive to produce. In instances where
pins are needed in a slightly shorter-than-normal production
time, printed pins are often a good option to get your order
to you in a timely fashion. Printed pins can also be produced
in a jumbo size that is extremely popular with sports teams
to use for trading.
Ordering your Screen Printed Pins
We can assist you with color selection or match your logo colors for your custom pins. You will be guided through finish selection,
whether antiqued, high polished or a combination, until you approve your final design. You may preview a digital or pre-production

and your custom lapel pins will be Ready to Ship in 10-14 working days.
