I was hoping I could give you some good news. As it is usually complaints that get voiced, I wanted to make sure that you heard the positive as well. I have worked with Laura Sullivan on two separate occasions. She created pins for my son's baseball team last year and this year we needed a little change to those pins as well as added patches to be sewn onto, perhaps jackets.
Anyway, last year, I tried my best to verbalize to her over the phone the image I had in my head of what I would like the pins to look like. Laura (and, I assume, the artists she works with) were able to create the NJ Twins pins to the exact image I had in my head. Not only was that amazing to me, but she also handled my needs with the utmost professionalism. I was under some time constraints and everything went smoothly, due to Laura's expertise.
Well, this year, I had started to think about ordering pins and Laura read my mind. She actually reached out to me before I got a chance to contact her. We loved the pins from last year and just wanted to add a little something to them for this year. I am working with a different manager and coaches this year, so I needed to play the middle man and make sure I had all their approvals, etc. Laura was more than patient with me as I bombarded her with tiny changes here and there. She also was very timely when responding to my emails and very patient with me when I'm sure it seemed like I would take forever with getting back to her with any changes or final approvals.
Like I told Laura, it is professionals like her who care about accomplishing what the customer needs and wants, that keep customers like me coming back to the Monterey Company. She is a rare find. You really have a gem in Laura and I and the NJ Twins truly appreciate her hard work and expertise in helping us get our pins and patches.
I look forward to a continued relationship with the Monterey Company.

Just wanted to say Thanks for a great job- the coins look great! Our company Accelerated Development and Support Corporation received the coins on Tuesday. My boss loved them. You guys did a fantastic job for our company and for the Office of Naval Research. We even received the coins ahead of time. I wasn't expecting them till next week. We will keep the Monterey Company in mind the next time we are looking to have coins made.

I am so pleased with the service that you provided, all the emails and phone calls, and how you stuck with me from beginning to end on this project. I didn’t tell you this, but the pins are a surprise. This being the 1st Calif. State Rally it was thrown together at the last minute and no pins or t-shirts were offered. I decided, on my own, to get some pins for the guys and gals, and if they want to contribute, I will send the proceeds to our SCRC National Director and it will go directly to St. Judes Children’s Hospital.
I not only will I call you again when I am involved in a rally and need pins, but will recommend you to the other SCRC Chapters across the country. We have an Internet community on www.delphiforums.com and news travels pretty fast.
Thank you again sooooooo much for your friendly attitude and enthusiasm, but especially for your highly professional attention to the customers needs and concerns. Dear Rachael & Paul The pins (and chains!) arrived safely and we LOVE them!! Natalie is absolutely thrilled. We’ve had such a great response from everyone in our group. There’s a web site with pictures of some of the pins that are going to be available for trading at global finals, and from the response we’re getting I think we’ll have one of the “hottest sets” down there. I want to express my surprise and appreciation for your overnight delivery efforts in getting the pin samples out to me so soon. As expected, all your samples were a big hit with the board members of the Friends of the Elephant Seal. Any of the pins would have been enough to impress all of the volunteers of the organization. In the final run-off vote, the board members chose the Antique Gold elephant seal as the winning pin sample. (My personal favorite was the silver seal sample.) Both provided extraordinary detail for the e-seal bull and made the pin very memorable. You have crafted true artwork.
Please begin production for the Antique Gold pins. (I hope you’re not expecting the return of the silver seal, because I’m keeping that beauty for me.)

Dear Paul:
The shipment of “Golden Eagle” pins your company made for Project Wildlife arrived yesterday. This completes our order and we are pleased.
It has been quite a long process. I was a neophyte at the beginning and I believe I have learned some things along the way to speed up design for a next time. Reproducing animal likeness is a challenge, understandably so.
Please know that your representative Laura Sullivan is nearing sainthood for her help in producing the five designs. Laura was always willing to facilitate design changes with the factory artists/producers and was a most helpful partner in the production. I count myself lucky that she was our representative in this project. She presents a fine example of the service your company provides.
And thank you for your work with the eagle design. All the Project Wildlife people that have seen the pins are very pleased. They will be used in fund raising, so here’s hoping that we will be placing many many additional orders.

Lou, I want to let you know the pins were a real hit at the National Ruritan Convention! Everyone stated that they were the prettiest pins there. I came home with approximately 50 to hand out to the cabinet. Also I gave you name & telephone number to a National Director from Illinois, so you might be getting some business from them.
