Fabric twill back with stitched thread over the base layer. Embroidery patches are our most popular patch type, with hundreds of thread colors available.
3D Embroidered Patches
We add a foam layer underneath our standard embroidered stitching to create a custom made three-dimensional appearance.
Woven Patches
Custom woven patches are perfect for detailed designs with intricate line work or small text. Create your own custom crisp and clean patch with woven materials.
PVC Patches
Soft, flexible rubber material. PVC rubber patches can be made in 2D or sculpted 3D. A sewing channel or hook and loop patch backing can be added to these custom made patches.
Genuine Leather Patches
Our genuine leather patches have either a debossed, embossed, or engraved imprint. They are timeless and classic, great for trucker hats.
Faux Leather Patches

Frequently Asked Questions
How much do custom patches cost?
The final price does depend on the patch's style, size, quantity, and customization upgrades. Larger quantities can be as little as $0.29 per piece. The best way to get started is to fill out our quote request form, and receive a quote free of charge.
How do I turn an image into a patch?
We suggest dye-sublimated patches for image patches. Sublimated patches utilize dyed threads and achieve extremely high detail and color gradients.
Are patches cheaper than embroidery?
That does depend on the patch design and style. Generally, woven and embroidered patches are cheaper than standard direct embroidery. While leather and PVC rubber tend to be more expensive. For a complete guide to patch types read this blog titled The Ultimate Guide to Different Patch Types.
Is it better to iron-on or sew-on patches?
Regarding attachment methods, we highly recommend sewing your patches onto clothing and hats. Sewing can take skill from a seamstress, but they adhere for a very long time. Custom Iron-on patches include glue added to the backside of the patch that is heat-activated to bond to the clothing. We suggest using a heat press to affix heat transfer patches rather than a household iron. What is the average production time?
Custom patches can range from as little as 5 businessdays to as much as 25 days, depending on our current production schedule. Custom embroidered patches are generally 8 to 12 days for production. What is the minimum order quantity for patches?
Our minimum quantity is 50 for most custom patch orders.
What colors are available for custom patches?
We match solid coated Pantone colors for all the patch colors. Ask your sales representative for a list of all the Pantone colors. We also offer metallic, glow-in-the-dark, and reflective thread options for certain patch types.
What border types are offered with custom patches?
There are three different patch border types for thread style patches: merrow border, heat cut border, and laser cut border. Here is the link to an article explaining the differences between the our thread style borders. PVC rubber and leather patches do not include any type of borders, but can include a sew-channel if requested.
