The string can be in single, uniform colors to create a clean, traditional look for your promotional apparel. You can also choose from classic black or white. This creates a contrast that will make a big impact! Or you have the option to match the shade of the hat, jacket, or bag it will adorn. The opportunities are endless!

Custom woven patches are great to use for branding and style! They can artfully stretch stitching across a fabric backing. This creates a tapestry-like depiction of your logo or design. This age-old style is timeless! You can select the strings of a single color to create a clean and simple effect. The quality of this is striking! Are you looking for patches with flair? Embroidered Patches vs Woven Patches
Embroidered vs Woven Patches: What's The difference?
Woven patches are perfect for designs that have a lot of intricate detail or small lettering. This style produces an incredible, clean, and clear graphic style that really makes them pop. This is a great option when detail is important, such as for a motto, brand logos, images, photos, and contact information.
How do you achieve such amazing attention to detail? The difference between embroidred and custom woven patches is in the thread size. They are made from thinner threads that are stitched continuously for a highly detailed outcome. This creates a nearly seamless look and feel. As a result, this changes the overall look and feel of your finished product.
Is Embroidery Better Than a Woven Patch?
Embroidered patches are perfect for simple designs with bold lettering or where the thicker strings can create a striking effect in themselves. They are stitched into the twill and have a raised and recessed look and feel. Similar to their embroidered counterparts, they can be made from multiple colors and this adds a unique style and dimension. Both styles use stitching to portray your logo, message, or brand. They capture your design in single or multicolored tapestries you can wear. How they differ is subtle. But, the overall appearance of this style versus embroidered can produce unique aesthetics and feel.
How do you know which design to choose? Custom woven patches use a thinner thread that is woven together instead of embroidered onto a fabric, they are ideal when a design is too complex to be achieved with the embroidery process. They are also a great way to give your photos a life-like effect. They also capture intricate design without losing detail.
Creating Your Design
We do our best to ensure you know and love exactly what you will be getting by first creating a proof for your approval. We are happy to work with you on any edits and adjustments needed. Once you approve of the artwork, your woven patch creations will move into production. If ordered, they will be professionally placed onto your hat or other apparel items.
How Are These Patches Made?
In addition to the colors in your design are the shades of fabric backing. With a nearly unlimited selection to choose from, you will be able to create a patch woven for perfection. It will have the exact effect you’re looking for.
Woven patches are made from continuously stitched threads that are intricately incorporated on top of a fabric backing. These threads are tightly woven together to create a seamless image or logo. On the side of the fabric opposite the thread is an adhesive backing or a Velcro strip. This allows you to securely attach them to the material of its new home.
If your logo needs to match perfectly try our sublimation patches.

They can be applied to shirts, bags, and other items, they can hug the corners or sit near the shoulder in a classic name tag position. Once you’ve chosen the perfect placement, then follow the instructions for your selected attachment style. We have several options.
