Maximize Your Event’s Success with Custom Racing Medals
A race of any distance is far more than the length of the event on the day. The management of a race of any size has a lot of background work going into the event day. Everything from the race date, amount of volunteers, and collecting the necessary equipment to provide a fantastic racing experience must be taken care of. Management of the race includes what kind of medals you give out to the participants after they’re done.
Why Are Custom Racing Medals Important?
Motivation and Satisfaction
Knowing that there is some goal at the end of the race that we can hold onto and remember will motivate anyone to try their best. While we love the feeling of finishing a longer run, being able to hold our accomplishments in our hands makes for a great motivator. Runners especially love proving the position they earn in a race if they compete with other people in their age group.
More than anything, a successful event is remembered. Racers who love to participate in multiple races collect memorabilia from their favorite events. What better way to make sure they keep memories of your event than having a stellar custom medal? Every time they look at your medal they’ll remember the amazing experience they had with your event. Maybe they’ll even come back for more fun experiences since they’ll be familiar with you!
Branding and Promotion
It’s not just for the racers either. Sponsors recognize brands regularly promoted via social media or even word of mouth. With fully custom racing medals you can physically prove how many participants are at your event. Those numbers help bring in new sponsorships building your brand even further. Plus showing you put high quality into the racing medals you give out shows you care about making your event professional.
More recently, races have occurred in more and more crowded places. This is mainly because there is simply less space to run with new developments. More races and brands fight for runners’ attention, so you want to stand apart!
Participation Medals and Place Medals
Participant Medals
We see most of our racing medal orders as participation medals. Participant medals are a great way to appreciate everyone participating in your event. You can even separate the platings and ribbons according to different age groups. These are the easiest medals to buy in bulk since no extra customization is needed to separate placers from finishers.
Place Medals
These are the medals that most people think of for races like marathons. Each gender and age group gets a first, second, or third-place medal with an overall male and female top finisher. We can engrave the placement positions onto the back of your medals to prevent having to make custom molds for each one. If you don’t want the price too high on place medals, you can purchase participant medals instead. If the medal is one-sided, we can engrave on the back for certain placements for age groups.
Ready to Get Started?
Once you have a design to get off the ground, you can fully customize your racing medals however you like with us! We customize both the medal and ribbon so you can make your event truly stand apart from the rest of your competitors.
